We focus our charitable giving on our local communities, contributing to causes and organizations we believe in that enrich the lives of the public. One of those organizations is the Maritime Museum of British Columbia.
The Maritime Museum of BC offers a wide variety of opportunities for our greater community to explore our nautical history and ocean sciences. From an extensive collection of objects, archives, photographs, library books, and even boats, all the exhibits offer significant meaning to maritime history and culture in BC.
They also offer programs and classes for youth and adults to partake in. At Berwick, we are passionate about providing opportunities for continued learning to seniors, which is one of the reasons why we wanted to partner with the Maritime Museum of BC. Now, we can bring these historical programs and speaking engagements talks to the individuals living our communities. Specifically, seniors in our communities will learn about the SV Dorothy from her 128 sailing the Salish Sea.
